The Yard & Plant Electrician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the shipyard and plant area. The role ensures safe and effective operation of electrical installations supporting shipbuilding and related activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems in the yard and plant area.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery, cranes, welding machines, compressors, and other plant equipment.
- Maintain electrical panels, switchboards, distribution boards, and lighting systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of power supply systems and generators used in the yard.
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical equipment as per schedule.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company safety policies.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Experience

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in shipyard

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
