Web Content Writer – Insurance (On-site | Pune)

We are looking for a skilled Web Content Writer with a strong background in the insurance or BFSI sector to lead the revamp and development of website content for our insurance platform. The ideal candidate should be able to translate complex insurance products and processes into clear, structured, and engaging web content that enhances customer understanding and improves the overall digital experience.

This role will primarily focus on writing and optimizing webpage copy, with occasional opportunities to work on scripts, campaign copy, and marketing content.

Key Responsibilities

- Write, edit, and revamp website content for insurance products and services, including product pages, landing pages, FAQs, and informational pages.
- Structure and simplify complex insurance concepts into clear, engaging, and customer-friendly web copy.
- Ensure all website content aligns with brand tone, regulatory guidelines, and customer communication standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, design, and UX teams to improve content flow, clarity, and user journey across webpages.
- Review and optimize existing web content to enhance readability, engagement, and search performance.
- Conduct research on insurance trends, customer queries, and competitor websites to strengthen content relevance.
- Support the marketing team with occasional scriptwriting for product videos, explainer videos, or promotional content.
- Assist with copywriting for campaigns, emailers, or digital assets when required.
- Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 2–5 years of experience in web content writing within the insurance or BFSI sector.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, terminology, customer journeys, and regulatory considerations.
- Proven experience writing website content such as product pages, landing pages, and service pages.
- Ability to simplify technical or financial concepts into clear and engaging web copy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple content pieces simultaneously.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune, Monday to Friday.
- Experience collaborating with design, UX, and marketing teams.

- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimization for web.
