About Us
We are a US-based e-commerce company selling automotive parts online. We operate multiple websites and are currently building a WordPress-powered content hub integrated with our main e-commerce platform. We are looking for a skilled WordPress Front-End Developer to take ownership of this work long term.
The Role
You will be the dedicated WordPress Front-End Developer responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving our WordPress content site. This is a full-time, long-term contractor position with consistent ongoing work. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and content team based in Delhi NCR.
This role focuses strictly on front-end development. We are not looking for a backend or server-side developer.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and maintain our WordPress theme to match our brand design precisely
- Build custom page templates for multiple content types including vehicle hub pages, repair guides, technical articles, and blog content
- Configure Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) so content writers can publish pages independently without editing code
- Create and optimize a large number of content pages over time
- Handle on-page SEO implementation including meta tags, schema markup, sitemaps, and canonical tags
- Ensure pages are fast, mobile-optimized, and visually consistent across devices
- Support the content team with front-end troubleshooting as new pages are published
Requirements
- 3+ years of WordPress development experience
- Strong experience building custom WordPress themes using PHP (no page builders such as Elementor or Divi)
- Strong front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
- Solid understanding of WordPress SEO tools such as Yoast or Rank Math, including schema and XML sitemaps
- Experience working on e-commerce websites
- Good English communication skills with ability to coordinate with US-based management
- Self-managed and reliable with the ability to take ownership in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the automotive or auto parts industry
- Experience integrating WordPress with an existing e-commerce platform
