  • Integrate third-party APIs and Express. js-based services where needed.
  • Manage site deployments, staging environments, and production releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across plugins, integrations, and code.

  • Core skills and experience
  • Deep expertise in WordPress backend development, hooks, filters, and architecture.
  • Strong experience with custom plugin and theme development.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with Bootstrap and frontend frameworks.
  • Familiar with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery (for integration purposes).
  • Experience with form tools (HubSpot Forms, WPForms, Contact Form 7, etc.).
  • Experience with REST API, AJAX, and JSON.

  • Knowledge of WordPress security best practices.
  • Experience with headless or decoupled WordPress environments.
  • SEO integration (technical level only, not content).
  • Familiarity with basic Express.js and backend API consumption.

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or

  • equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience as a WordPress Engineer or in a similar technical role.
