Position: Senior Wedding Cinematographer & Video Editor

Jumping Souls is a 12-year-old photography and cinematography company, originally founded in Goa and now also based in Hyderabad. We specialize in capturing weddings across India and internationally, with a strong focus on storytelling and emotion-driven visuals.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Wedding Cinematographer who is equally skilled in filming and editing wedding films. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for storytelling, be comfortable working in dynamic wedding environments, and be able to independently handle both shooting and post-production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture weddings, pre-wedding shoots, and related events with a cinematic and storytelling approach
• Handle camera operations, framing, lighting, and audio during shoots
• Edit wedding films, teasers, reels, and full-length videos with a strong narrative sense
• Collaborate with the photography and creative team to ensure consistency in visual style
• Manage and organize footage, backups, and project timelines efficiently
• Deliver high-quality edits within deadlines
• Travel for outstation and destination weddings as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in wedding cinematography and editing
• Must have exclusive wedding experience (portfolio required)
• Strong proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro (After Effects is a plus)
• Good understanding of color grading, sound design, and music syncing
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments (typical wedding setups)
• Strong sense of aesthetics, storytelling, and emotional timing
• Team player with good communication skills
• Willingness to travel frequently

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience in handling destination weddings
• Knowledge of current wedding film trends and social media formats (reels, teasers, etc.)
• Ability to take creative ownership of projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
