Production Management

• Plan and achieve daily/shift-wise production targets
• Monitor loom efficiency and minimize downtime
• Ensure smooth running of Airjet, Waterjet, or Rapier looms
• Coordinate with planning department for fabric schedule

2️ Machine Supervision

• Check loom settings (speed, pick density, warp tension)
• Ensure proper beam and weft loading
• Monitor breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance team
• Reduce machine stoppages and improve efficiency

3️ Quality Control

• Monitor fabric quality during production
• Control defects like missing ends, oil stains, double picks, reed marks
• Ensure fabric meets buyer specifications
• Maintain quality records and reports

4️ Manpower Handling

• Supervise weavers, jobbers, and helpers
• Allocate machines as per skill level
• Provide training to new workers
• Maintain discipline and shift attendance

5️ Safety & Housekeeping

• Ensure safety procedures are followed
• Maintain clean and organized weaving floor
• Prevent accidents and machine hazards

6️ Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain production reports
• Record efficiency, wastage, and downtime
• Communicate daily updates to Plant Head / Production Manager

7️ Cost & Waste Control

• Minimize yarn wastage
• Control air consumption (in airjet looms)
• Improve productivity per loom
