  • *Role & responsibilities** :
  • **Lead Generation & Prospecting**: Identify and contact "suspects" (people who haven't decided on a loan) and convert them into "prospects". This involves making approximately 100 outbound calls daily to new or existing customers.
  • **Product Consultation**: Explain various loan products (Personal, Home, Business, Gold, or Loans Against Property), detail interest rates, eligibility criteria, and repayment plans tailored to customer needs.
  • **Application Guidance**: Assist clients through the initial loan application process, ensuring all necessary basic details and documents (KYC, income proof) are gathered.
  • **Follow-up Management**: Maintain a healthy pipeline by consistently following up with leads until the loan is disbursed or a meeting is set for the field sales team.
  • **Data Discipline**: Accurately update customer interactions, call outcomes, and lead statuses in **Customer Relationship Management (CRM)** software to ensure seamless handovers.

  • **Persuasion & Negotiation**: Ability to handle objections (e.g., "interest rates are too high") and convince hesitant customers without being forceful.
  • **Active Listening**: Understanding a customer's specific financial situation to suggest the most appropriate loan solution.
  • **Resilience**: Maintaining a positive attitude despite high volumes of rejection, which is a standard part of the telecalling process.
  • **Product Knowledge**: Deep understanding of the company's financial offerings and competing market rates to provide credible information.
