Role Description

Cygnus Professionals Inc. is seeking an experienced Web Application Firewall (WAF) L3 Engineer with 8+ years of experience for a full-time, on-site position located in Nagpur. The WAF L3 Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring the security and reliability of web application firewalls, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address security vulnerabilities, and implementing best practices in application security. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and conducting regular assessments to enhance system integrity and security.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Web Application Development and Web Applications to design, test, and deploy high-quality solutions.
• Expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software Development to manage server-side logic and application functionality effectively.
• Strong understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in developing scalable and maintainable software.
• Knowledge of web application firewalls (WAFs) and related security protocols, including identifying and resolving vulnerabilities and threats.
• Experience in on-site collaboration, ability to work closely with diverse teams, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications in application security will be an added advantage.
