Mechanical Design Engineer - PWTA and EESE

Responsibilities

• Have operational responsibility for a component or sub-module delivery.
• Drive the work from an operational perspective.
• Have a capacity to work individually or with a small team actively to secure the deliverables.
• Lead mechanical design engineering activities in a particular area.
• Play an active role in the delivery.
• Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality and readiness before release.
• Spread knowledge and develop competence within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering

Essential skills

• Experience in product development and manufacturing process
• Design, Functional Integration analysis
• Intermediate Skill set in CREO
• Good Knowledge in GD&T concepts & Change Management.
• Vehicle Powertrain and Electrical knowledge
• Component level & system level Testing knowledge
• Volvo experience is added advantage.

Desired skills

Experience in Base engine design and development and Electrical parts design and development using CREO.

8 to 12 years' experience in Product development for automobile industry
