Video Editor Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content across multiple platforms, including social media, web, and broadcast.

The ideal candidate is a master storyteller who can seamlessly blend technical proficiency with artistic vision using the industry's leading software tools.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished, high-impact videos (short-form, long-form, and promotional).
• Motion Graphics & VFX: Create custom titles, transitions, and lower thirds, and integrate visual effects to enhance the narrative.
• Color Grading: Perform professional-level color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and set the desired mood.
• Asset Creation: Design and export high-quality thumbnails, static graphics, and overlays to support video content.
• Sound Design: Synchronize audio, clean up noise, and mix dialogue with music and sound effects (SFX) for a balanced, immersive experience.
• Workflow Management: Organize and manage large volumes of media assets and project files efficiently.
• Collaboration: Work closely with directors, marketing teams, and content creators to translate creative briefs into compelling visual stories.

Technical Skills & Software Requirements

• Adobe Premiere Pro: Expert-level proficiency for core narrative editing and timeline management.
• Adobe After Effects: Strong skills in motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and compositing.
• DaVinci Resolve: Mastery of advanced color grading workflows and finishing.
• Adobe Photoshop: Proficiency in creating assets, textures, and thumbnails for video integration.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of frame rates, aspect ratios, resolutions, and codecs (H.264, ProRes, HEVC) for platform-specific exports (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.).

Qualifications & Soft Skills

• Storytelling: A strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and narrative structure.
• Attention to Detail: Frame-by-frame precision and a keen eye for continuity and audio-video sync.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical software issues and find creative solutions for footage challenges.
• Communication: Proactive in seeking feedback and clear in communicating project timelines.
• Portfolio: A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating diverse editing styles and technical mastery.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
