Protein Chef is part of Lo Foods, India’s largest functional food company focused on lifestyle conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and gluten intolerance.

We are looking for a fast, detail-oriented Video Editor who thrives in a high-output content environment.

You will be responsible for editing daily social content, founder-led videos, brand campaigns, and performance creatives for Protein Chef.

If you enjoy turning raw footage into high-performing content, experimenting with AI editing tools, and working in a team that moves fast - this role is for you.

You will work closely with the creative, production, and social team to deliver content that reaches millions of viewers every month.

𝟭. 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 & 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

Edit short-form content including Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social-first formats.

Edit daily social content, founder-led videos, brand storytelling content, and performance marketing creatives for Protein Chef.

Transform raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos optimized for social platforms.

Edit videos with strong hooks, pacing, and subtitles optimized for social media.

𝟮. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻

Apply motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, sound design, and colour grading.

Maintain visual consistency and brand tone across all videos.

Ensure videos are formatted correctly for different platforms, aspect ratios, and viewing formats.

𝟯. 𝗔𝗜-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄

Use AI tools (Runway, Descript, Pictory, etc.) to improve editing speed and content output.

Experiment with AI-assisted workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity.

Stay updated with emerging video and AI content tools.

𝟰. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Work closely with the production, creative, and social teams to execute content efficiently.

Handle multiple edits simultaneously while maintaining quality and turnaround speed.

Adapt quickly to feedback and ensure smooth execution from brief to final delivery.

𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀


• 3–4 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital platforms.


• Strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.


• Experience editing short-form social content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style videos).


• Good understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, hooks, and social media formats.


• Knowledge of motion graphics, audio editing, colour correction, and subtitles.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output content environment.

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀


• Experience working with D2C, consumer, food, or lifestyle brands.


• Prior experience editing performance marketing ads or influencer content.


• Hands-on exposure to AI video tools and automation workflows.
