- *Role Overview**
- *As a Video Editor at IndieDoers, you will work with a variety of creators and businesses, editing content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and other digital channels. You should be comfortable turning raw footage into polished, high-performing content.**
- *Responsibilities**
- Edit
- *long-form videos**

(YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, educational content)

- Edit
- *short-form content**

(Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style clips)

- Add
- *motion graphics, transitions, captions, and visual effects**

when needed

- Improve pacing, storytelling, and engagement in videos
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines
- Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent quality across client content
- *Requirements**
- Minimum
- *3 years of professional video editing experience**
- **Strong experience with long-form and short-form editing**
- **Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation**
- **Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar**
- **Solid sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention**
- **Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines consistently**
- **Portfolio showing real client work or high-quality projects**

- Experience editing

- **Understanding of viral short-form content formats**
- **Experience working with content agencies or marketing teams**
