Job Title: Videographer/ Video Editor

About IIS: Inspire Institute of Sport is India’s premier high-performance training centre, working with elite and emerging athletes across multiple Olympic disciplines. We tell stories of athletic excellence, performance and perseverance, and we are looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to help bring these stories to life.

Capture high-quality video footage of practice sessions, events, and behind-the-scenes activities
  • Operate and maintain high-end video cameras, drones, stabilizers, and other production equipment to ensure optimal video quality
  • Set up and adjust lighting, audio equipment, and camera settings to ensure excellent video production
  • Collaborate with coaches, athletes, and the performance team to document training methodologies and analyse footage for performance improvement

  • Video Editing & Post-Production
  • Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing software
  • Incorporate motion graphics, slow-motion analysis, colour correction, and sound design to enhance video quality
  • Manage video archives, ensuring proper storage, organisation, and easy access to footage for future use
  • Ensure all videos are optimised for different platforms, including social media, websites, and internal reports

  • Creative Development & Content Strategy
  • Work closely with the marketing and digital teams to create compelling promotional content for social media, advertisements, and campaigns
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, video styles, and editing techniques to continuously improve content quality
  • Conceptualise and execute storytelling videos that highlight the journey, struggles, and achievements of athletes

  • Project Management & Operations
  • Handle multiple video projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery
  • Plan and execute on-location shoots, which may require travel across different training centres, competition venues, and events
  • Maintain an organised workflow for all video projects, ensuring efficient file storage and retrieval

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in videography and 2 years in video editing, with a strong portfolio of sports or action-based videography
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
  • Ability to shoot and edit videos in various styles, including cinematic, documentary, and promotional
  • Experience in motion graphics, colour grading, and sound editing is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel when required

  • May involve travelling for competitions, training camps, and promotional events
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor, fast-paced, and high-performance sports environment
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver projects efficiently
