As the Vice President Finance & Accounts, your role will involve leading the finance function and overseeing end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, audit management, and financial planning. You should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and a proven track record of independently managing audits and finance operations for multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee business unitwise accounting to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Review and approve vendor bills, ensuring TDS applicability.
- Manage vendor payments through online banking systems and handle vendor queries.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all bills and vouchers.
- Manage month-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
- Maintain monthly databases for tax deductions and issue Form 16A to vendors.
- Monitor and manage periodic cash flow requirements.
- Handle accounting and payment processes for group companies.
- Lead year-end activities and coordinate with statutory auditors.
- Prepare and compute advance tax, ensuring timely payments.
- File all statutory returns including IT returns, GST (GSTR-1 & 3B), and quarterly/annual TDS returns.
- Manage APR filings (audited and unaudited).
- Provide detailed information and schedules for tax assessments.
- Prepare, track, and analyze annual budgets.
- Manage cash flow statements, P&L reconciliations (Tally vs MIS), BU-wise P&L, and budget vs actuals.
- Generate MIS reports and provide insights to senior management.
- Oversee tax withholding on salaries and benefits.
- Manage quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with PF, PT, and related assessments.
- Implement and manage an effective payroll system (Excel-based).
- Handle employee tax computations, queries, investment declarations, and proof collection.

Qualifications Required:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and corporate/individual taxation.
- Hands-on experience with income tax scrutiny and GST matters.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage audits.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Tally accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong command over numbers.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams for at least 5 years.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with senior management.
- Ability to work under pressure and drive results through teams.
