Mid-Level UX Engineer (Remote)

Building Operations Platform

We’re looking for a mid-level UX engineer to help design and develop the user interfaces for our building operations platform. You’ll work with modern frontend technologies to create interactive data apps for internal and external users.

What You'll Do
Develop and maintain user interfaces for data applications
Develop interactive data visualizations
Design and validate user interfaces
Create responsive and accessible UI components
Create visual tests and stories
Collaborate with a cross functional team
Participate in code reviews and frontend architecture decisions

Required Skills
2+ years of experience in frontend development.
Solid foundations in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Familiarity with Design Systems and Figma
Proficiency in React and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript
Proficiency in the Node ecosystem, including package managers, runtimes, and bundlers
Familiarity with GraphQL and REST APIs
Strong understanding of component-based architecture
Comfortable working with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have
Familiarity with data visualization using visx / D3.js
Experience with react-three-fiber / Three.js for 3D visualizations
Exposure to Streamlit for interactive data apps or Python in general
Some full-stack experience, with technologies such as Express, Azure Functions, or similar
Open source contributions
