Teacher (Cambridge Curriculum – Grades 8 to 10)

Location: Ramanagara District, Karnataka
Employment Type: Part-Time (3–4 days a week) / Full-Time (5 days a week)
Salary:

• Full-Time: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month
• Part-Time: Pro-rated based on number of working days (e.g., approx. ₹30,000 for 3 days/week)

Role Summary

A
progressive international curriculum school is seeking a passionate and
committed Hindi Teacher for Grades 8 to 10 (Cambridge IGCSE level).
The role involves teaching Hindi as a second language with a strong focus on
language development, literature appreciation, and communication skills.

The ideal
candidate should be enthusiastic about working with adolescents, adaptable to
alternative teaching methodologies, and capable of delivering engaging,
student-centric lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Hindi to students of Grades 8 to 10 following Cambridge (IGCSE) curriculum guidelines.
• Develop lesson plans that promote language proficiency, literature appreciation, and critical thinking.
• Enhance students’ reading, writing, grammar, and spoken Hindi skills.
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments.
• Encourage active classroom participation and interactive learning.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure a cohesive academic approach.
• Maintain records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Use digital tools for communication, reporting, and academic planning.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s
degree in Hindi (B.A. Hindi or equivalent qualification) with B.Ed mandatory.

• Prior experience teaching Hindi at high school level, preferably in Cambridge/IGCSE or equivalent curriculum.
• Strong command over Hindi language and literature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations).
• Ability to engage with adolescents and create a positive learning environment.
• Willingness to collaborate and align with the school’s teaching philosophy.
