Job Summary:

Chandigarh University is seeking a creative and technically skilled UI/UX Designer & Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain engaging, user-friendly digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing user experience across websites and web applications while ensuring responsive, functional, and visually appealing designs.

Job Responsibilities:

- Design intuitive UI/UX layouts for websites, landing pages, and web applications.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using industry-standard design tools.
- Develop and maintain responsive websites ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and content teams to translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability.
- Implement SEO-friendly structures and ensure website security best practices.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to improve user journeys.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design and web development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.G., WordPress) and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Robust understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
