Job Summary

The Tool Room Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting injection mould tools and tool room machines to ensure smooth production operations. The role involves troubleshooting mould issues, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the production team for tool trials and modifications.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and repair of injection moulds and tooling components.
Perform preventive maintenance of moulds and tool room machines.
Support mould setup and trials on injection moulding machines.
Operate tool room machines such as EDM, and drilling machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and mould designs.
Modify mould components like cores, cavities, ejector pins, and inserts when required.
Maintain records of mould maintenance, tool history, and spare parts inventory.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime.
Follow safety standards and maintain 5S in the tool room.

Required Skills
Knowledge of Injection Moulding Tools & Dies
Experience in Tool Room Machines (Lathe, Milling, EDM, Surface Grinder)
Ability to read engineering drawings
Basic knowledge of CNC / CAD software preferred
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making / Mechanical Engineering
1–3 years experience in Injection Mould Manufacturing / Tool Room

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
