Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Engineer/Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in textile design, vendor management, and marketing with a keen interest in gifting solutions. The role involves managing end-to-end design and development of textile products while ensuring effective collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Textile Design & Development:

• Conceptualize and design innovative textile products in line with market trends and client requirements.

• Develop and maintain product samples, mood boards, and design presentations.

• Ensure high-quality standards for materials, colors, textures, and production techniques.

Vendor Management:

• Identify, negotiate, and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality control.

• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong relationships for long-term partnerships.

• Ensure cost-effective procurement and production processes.

Marketing & Sales Support:

• Provide creative input for marketing campaigns, product catalogues, and promotional materials.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to showcase textile solutions and gifting ideas.

• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer preferences.

Gifting Solutions:

• Design and curate customized textile gifting solutions for corporate and retail clients.

• Create product packaging concepts that enhance the value of gifting offerings.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Design, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in textile design and development.

• Strong understanding of textile materials, production processes, and quality standards.

• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.

• Creative flair with knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences.

• Experience in marketing and gifting solutions is a plus.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent.

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
