Job Description:
As a Territory Sales Manager at Owens & Minor, you will be responsible for driving sales performance in Bangalore or Delhi by developing and executing territory-level business plans. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Achieving sales targets through effective territory and key account management
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers through regular visits to drive product adoption
- Identifying, developing, and converting opportunities in SFDC to build a strong sales funnel
- Monitoring sales KPIs and implementing corrective actions to close performance gaps
- Identifying new business opportunities in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, R&D units, and testing labs
- Executing customer-wise strategies to drive value capture and increase share of wallet
- Monitoring sales call frequency, territory coverage, and sales performance to drive further growth
- Supporting the implementation of product launches and marketing campaigns within the territory
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs
- Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution
- Managing relationships with distributors and channel partners
- Monitoring secondary sales, stock availability, and order fulfillment
- Ensuring compliance with pricing, India FDA policies, and commercial terms
- Adhering to all corporate governance and compliance guidelines
- Submitting timely reports on sales performance, market insights, and activities
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM (e.g., SFDC) to ensure data hygiene

Qualifications:
- Graduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or an equivalent discipline. MBA / PGDBM preferred
- 810 years of overall sales experience in the MedTech / healthcare industry
- Proven track record in institutional sales and territory management
- Prior experience in Infection Prevention products
- Experience working with distributors and tender-driven institutional sales
- Broad-based understanding of healthcare customers, markets, and competitors
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship management and customer engagement capabilities
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability
- High levels of integrity, initiative, and organizational sensitivity
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce/SFDC) and MS Office tools
