We're growing and we're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our Tendering & Procurement team.

What You'll Do:

You'll play a central role in how we win and price our projects - from first tender to final award. This is a high-impact position where your numbers directly shape business outcomes.

• Tendering & BOQ Preparation - Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and competitive tender submissions for commercial, hospitality, and institutional electrical projects. Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate scope capture.
• Panel Board & Switchgear Estimation - Prepare detailed estimates for LT distribution boards, panel boards, MCCs, and associated switchgear assemblies, including component-level costing and vendor quote comparison.
• Vendor Negotiations & Procurement Support - Float enquiries, collect and compare vendor quotations (cables, switchgear, lighting, cable management systems), negotiate pricing, and support procurement decisions with cost-benefit analysis.
• Site Visits & Technical Coordination - Conduct site surveys to validate scope, resolve design ambiguities, and coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients on technical specifications and material approvals.
• AutoCAD Proficiency - Read, interpret, and extract quantities from single-line diagrams, layout drawings, cable routing plans, and panel schedules using AutoCAD. Prepare measurement sheets and markup drawings as needed.
• Cost Database - Maintain and update material rate databases, track price escalations from key suppliers (Polycab, Schneider, ABB, L&T, etc.), and support management with costing.

What We're Looking For

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Min. 2–4 years of experience in electrical estimation/tendering, preferably in a contracting firm handling commercial or hospitality projects
• Strong working knowledge of LT distribution systems, cable sizing, panel board configurations, and electrical material specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills - pivot tables, lookups, and structured estimation workbooks
• Familiarity with IS standards, CEIG standards, and tender documentation
• Excellent communication and vendor coordination skills
• Self-motivated, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tenders under deadline
