Our client, a major player in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Network Engineer to join their operations team. This role is crucial for maintaining and upgrading the network infrastructure that powers our client's services. The position requires hands-on work on-site at our facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques, ensuring the reliability and performance of our telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain telecommunications network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Monitor network performance and availability, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance. Troubleshoot network issues and outages, providing timely and effective resolutions to minimize downtime. Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and select network hardware and software. Ensure network security policies and procedures are implemented and enforced. Conduct regular network audits and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement. Stay current with emerging telecommunications technologies and industry best practices. Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for network issues outside of normal business hours. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications network engineering. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing and switching protocols. Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or equivalent. Experience with fiber optics and wireless communication technologies. Proficiency in network security principles and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
