1. Overview:

  • The Telecaller plays a crucial role in generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the overall sales growth of the company. This role requires strong communication, persuasive sales skills, and a dedication to providing excellent customer service. The primary objective is to schedule appointments and qualify leads for the sales team.


2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Making a high volume of outbound calls to potential clients using provided lead lists and scripts.

  • Qualifying leads by identifying their needs and determining their suitability for the company's products or services.

  • Effectively communicating product/service information and benefits to potential clients.

  • Handling objections and addressing customer concerns professionally and persuasively.

  • Scheduling appointments for sales representatives to meet with qualified leads.

  • Accurately recording and updating customer information in the company's CRM system.

  • Maintaining detailed records of all calls made and their outcomes.

  • Collaborating with the sales team to ensure a smooth lead handover process.

  • Meeting or exceeding daily/weekly call volume and appointment scheduling targets.

  • Identifying and reporting on potential sales opportunities and market trends.


3. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with VoIP phone systems.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technologies.


4. Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in a telecalling or customer service role (minimum 1 year experience).


5. Skills & Experience:

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential. This includes active listening, clear articulation, and the ability to adapt communication style to different individuals.

  • Sales: Proven ability to persuade and influence potential clients, overcome objections, and close sales. Experience with sales targets and achieving quotas is highly desirable.
