Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Writer – IPC & SBOM to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation supporting wind turbine service operations. The role involves developing Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) documentation and managing Service Bill of Materials (SBOM) while ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

IPC Development

Create and update Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) documentation including parts lists and technical illustrations.

Analyze engineering drawings and technical documents to ensure documentation accuracy.

Produce technical and isometric illustrations for service documentation.

Track engineering changes and update documentation accordingly.

SBOM Management

Create and maintain Service Bill of Materials (SBOM) structures and specifications.

Manage SBOM related updates, operational requests, and process improvements.

Technical Documentation

Author DITA-compliant modular documentation.

Develop and maintain production and service documentation.

Ensure documentation meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with engineering teams to ensure documentation accuracy.

Coordinate documentation activities across technical projects.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

Conduct RCA / CAPA activities.

Maintain documentation libraries and reusable content.

Required Skills

2–3 years experience in Technical Writing or Engineering Documentation

Experience with IPC and BOM / SBOM documentation

Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or PDMLink

Experience with technical illustration tools like Adobe Illustrator, CAD, or IsoDraw

Strong English communication skills

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of DITA XML structured documentation

Experience working with engineering or service documentation environments
