As a Field Sales Specialist at Magnus Opto System India Pvt. Ltd., a DSS Group company, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth in the microscopy sector, focusing on academic and research solutions. Your technical expertise and strategic sales approach will be key in identifying and qualifying leads, nurturing opportunities with both new and existing customers in microscopy. Here are the key responsibilities for this role:

- Building a strong pipeline of prospective customers, nurturing leads, and successfully converting them into sales.
- Achieving overall sales and product range wise targets within an assigned territory.
- Managing customer interactions and maintaining strong relationships with scientists, researchers, academicians & pathologists.
- Conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, understanding market trends, and conducting competitors analysis.
- Assisting the Product marketing team in seminars, training courses, exhibitions, and product launches.
- Preparing and presenting regular reports, forecasts, and executing sales strategies for the territory.
- Using CRM for managing product and customer related information.
- Handling the full product sales cycle including payment collection.
- Preparing a monthly travel plan and reporting daily activity updates to the reporting manager.
- Working closely with the service and application team to support customer query resolution.
- Traveling extensively within the assigned territory to visit customers as and when needed.

In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, the following qualifications are required for this role:

- Excellent communication & Presentation Skills.
- Strong technical and product knowledge of Biological Microscopes or similar medical equipment.
- Understanding of medical equipment markets.
- Hands-on experience in using G Suits, MS Office, and CRM.
- Willingness to travel across the region.
- Positive attitude with good team player skills.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in selling Microscopy products, as well as experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, or diagnostics industry or manufacturing. The educational qualifications required are a B. Tech / M. Tech (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Lifesciences) or similar domain, with an MBA being an add-on. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4-8 years of experience in selling biological microscopes.
