Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Designer with strong BIM capabilities to support the delivery of high-quality design and construction documentation. The role requires transforming conceptual and schematic designs into accurate, coordinated, and buildable technical drawings and BIM models. You will work closely with design, project management, and consultant teams to ensure technical excellence across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Documentation

● Develop detailed technical drawings, construction documents, and specifications based on design intent.

● Translate conceptual and schematic designs into coordinated BIM models and technical packages.

● Produce plans, sections, elevations, details, joinery drawings, and schedules as required.

BIM Modeling & Coordination

● Create and maintain BIM models with a high level of accuracy and detail (LOD as per project stage).

● Coordinate BIM models with architects, interior designers, MEP, structural consultants, and contractors.

● Perform clash detection and resolve technical conflicts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Standards & Quality Control

● Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM standards, drawing standards, and best practices.

● Conduct internal quality checks on drawings and models to maintain accuracy and consistency.

● Support BIM execution plans and documentation workflows.

Project Support

● Assist project teams during design development, tender, and construction stages.

● Respond to technical queries from site teams, consultants, and vendors.

● Support revisions and updates based on design changes or site feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

● Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Building Design, or a related discipline.

Experience

● 3–6 years of experience as a Technical Designer, with proven BIM project involvement.

● Experience in commercial, workplace, retail, hospitality, or large-scale interior projects preferred.

Technical Skills

● Strong proficiency in Revit (mandatory).

● Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

● Experience with BIM coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks) is an advantage.

● Understanding of construction methods, materials, detailing, and building regulations.

● Knowledge of BIM workflows, families, parameters, and model management.
