Role Description

This is a part-time, remote Technician role with AWS Cloud Club at Silver Oak University. The Technician will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and configuration of cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with team members to execute cloud-related projects, and ensuring smooth operation of tools and technologies within the club. Additional responsibilities include technical support, organizing virtual events, and contributing to club resources.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Cloud Computing Concepts, including AWS architecture and tools
• Skills in System Administration, Technical Troubleshooting, and Monitoring Infrastructure
• Familiarity with Networking and Security principles for cloud-based environments
• Basic Programming and Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, including the ability to support collaborative projects
• Willingness to learn, experiment, and problem-solve independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred
• Experience with AWS Cloud services or completion of related certifications is a plus
