To support the design, review, and modification of the Bank’s Business Banking credit policies and product programs in line with regulatory requirements, internal governance, and best practices. The role also ensures robust portfolio reviews, reporting, and communication of policy updates, while providing analytical and operational support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy & Program Management
  • Draft, review, and modify Business Banking product programs and credit policies in line with regulatory guidelines, internal governance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and refine bank-level processes to ensure consistent implementation of credit policies across Business Banking.
  • Portfolio & Sectoral Reviews
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and sectoral analyses to identify emerging risks, trends, and concentrations.
  • Provide analytical inputs to strengthen credit risk management practices.
  • Governance & Reporting
  • Prepare and publish monthly newsletters highlighting credit policy updates, regulatory changes, and best practices for Business Banking segments.
  • Contribute to preparation of RMC dashboards, Head Council reports, and other senior management updates.
  • Support secretarial reviews and ensure timely closure of action points.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Support
  • Assist in responding to internal and regulatory queries related to Business Banking credit policy and portfolio.
  • Liaise with Business, Credit, Risk, and Compliance teams for alignment on policy-related matters.
  • Provide timely data reports and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge & Awareness
  • Support dissemination of policy changes, clarifications, and guidelines to stakeholders across the bank.
  • Promote awareness of risk management practices through structured communication.

  • Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of credit policy frameworks, regulatory guidelines, and Business Banking products.
  • Analytical ability with exposure to portfolio/sectoral risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in report preparation, dashboards, and stakeholder communication.
  • Detail-oriented with strong drafting and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and handle queries effectively.

  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate/ Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related discipline (MBA/ CA/ CFA preferred).
  • 3–6 years of experience in credit risk, policy, or portfolio management, preferably in Business Banking/SME segment.
  • Prior exposure to policy governance and regulatory interactions is desirable.
