Job Description: Job Title: Tax/Regulatory Client Classification QA, AS Location: Bangalore, India Role Description The Tax/Regulatory Client Classification Quality Assurance team operates as an independent audit function ensuring the accuracy and consistency of validations performed by TDD and CLM Teams for FATCA, CRS, MiFID II, and SFA. The team sits within Financial Crime Risk (FCR) and the Compliance Business Control Office, covering both Tax, Regulatory Client Classification QA and KYC QA. Serve as SME and act as the point of contact in the AVP’s absence. Coordinate stakeholder discussions and ensure regulatory and audit deliverables are met. Support preparation and maintenance of process KOPs and oversee mailbox monitoring, volume allocation, backup creation, and onboarding training. Ensure timely completion of mandatory training and BAU reporting. Lead team huddles, contribute to projects, and make informed decisions aligned with business expectations. Control: Adhere to TAX/MiFID II/SFA global standards and procedures. Identify training needs, manage escalations, and ensure SLA adherence with high quality and accuracy. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. Provide transparency on operational incidents, root causes, and lead remediation actions. Change: Identify risk areas and propose control enhancements or process improvements. Encourage process automation and support SMEs in driving improvement initiatives. Communicate process updates to the team consistently. Maintain high control standards with continuous audit readiness. Drive proactive risk management, escalate issues promptly, and support knowledge sharing and coaching. Investigate and resolve open items in line with departmental policies. Your skills and experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field. 6–8 years of experience in Tax/Regulatory Client Classification QA, KYC QA, or related processes. Prior experience with FATCA, CRS, MiFID II, and SFA. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Tableau, Power Apps, and other automation-enabling tools. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Flexibility to support multiple time zones when required.
