As a Tableau Data Engineer, you will work to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. On a typical day,

you might

• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions with Tableau as the primary BI skill
• Leverage Tableau to maintain & support data analytics platforms.
• Involve yourself in unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and build reports that exceed the expectations of the clients.
• Work on enhancing the BI systems that exist.
• Develop or ensure that the tech documentation developed is updated.
• Understand any Bi-level SLAs and take care of BI performance tuning

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-7 years of overall experience having atleast 2+ years of relevant experience in Tableau with a strong background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems and online analytical processing (OLAP) with strong exposure to ETL

(Extract, transform, load) framework and any ETL tool would be an added advantage

• Should have strong experience working in Tableau
• Model creation
• Creating Measures
• RLS Implementation
• Performance Tuning
• Security
• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL.
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be an innovative analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Adept understanding of any of the cloud services is preferred (Azure).
