Role Summary

We are seeking a Tableau Platform Administrator with hands-on experience in Tableau Online administration and working knowledge of BI development.
The role primarily focuses on platform support, connectivity troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and enabling data access across cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Tableau Online (Cloud) environments.
Manage users, groups, roles, licensing, and permissions.
Implement and support Tableau security models, including row-level and column-level security.
Monitor platform usage and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Manage published data sources, extracts, refresh schedules, and subscriptions.
Manage Tableau Cloud (Online) and its integrations with enterprise systems.
Configure and support Tableau Bridge.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues from Tableau Online and Tableau Desktop to cloud data platforms (GCP BigQuery, Azure).
Optimise dashboard performance, large extracts, and data models.
Support direct, virtual, and extract-based connections.
Provide Tableau best-practice guidance to users.
Build and optimise dashboards, calculations, parameters, filters, and actions using Tableau Desktop.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience administering Tableau Online (Cloud).
Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop.
Proven expertise in Tableau performance tuning and connectivity troubleshooting.
Experience with Tableau Bridge and large extract handling.
Strong SQL and relational data knowledge.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as GCP BigQuery and Azure.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Nice to Have
Tableau certifications (Desktop, Data Analyst, or Cloud Admin).
Experience with SSO, SCIM, and Azure AD.
Exposure to Tableau Prep.
