Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic operations executive to lead our broker-dealer offshore operations to support the establishment of a Global Capability Center in Hyderabad, India. As SVP, Offshore Operations, you will be responsible for managing all India-based functions that support our US broker-dealer business, including trade processing, client onboarding, regulatory reporting, surveillance support, and back-office operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial services operations, a strong understanding of global delivery models, and a proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.---

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all India operational functions supporting the broker-dealer business, including clearing functions from account opening to trade settlement, cashiering functions including wires, ACH, and margin, advisor compensation calculations and payments, and fraud detection and reporting.
  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring seamless integration with US-based teams and functions.
  • Regulatory Support & Compliance: Ensure offshore teams are aligned with US regulatory requirements (FINRA, SEC), including support for surveillance, AML/KYC, and regulatory reporting (e.g., CAT, TRACE, 17a-3/4).
  • Process Optimization: Drive operational efficiency through automation, workflow redesign, and implementation of best practices across trade lifecycle management. Collaborate with local technology & product teams to support platform enhancements, data integrity, and operational scalability.
  • Performance Management:

  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Talent & Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team of operations professionals; foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and regulatory awareness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary offshore liaison for US-based business, operations, compliance, and technology teams; ensure alignment on service levels and strategic priorities.

  • Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in financial services operations, with at least 7 years in broker-dealer operations and offshore team management.
  • Deep understanding of trade lifecycle, clearing & settlement, regulatory reporting, and broker-dealer compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working with US-based broker-dealers and familiarity with FINRA/SEC regulations.
  • Experience with GCC operations, multinational operations management, and rapid business scaling.
  • Deep product development and technology deployment experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Series 99 (required within 90 days of start date), Series 7 & 24 preferred.
