As a Regional Logistics Manager in Mumbai for a leading company in the FMCD/FMCG/FMEG/Luggage/Building Material industry, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics operations efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Warehousing:**
- Identifying, selecting, and appointing 3PL/CFA service partners for warehousing.
- Day-to-day monitoring of 5-6 DC/RWs/CWS Warehouses.
- Ensuring operational efficiencies and cost management of Warehouses.
- Leading warehouse capability enhancement projects and driving implementation.
- Handling new warehouse launches and strategies.
- Maintaining expertise in Warehouse Management systems and latest taxation rules.
- Managing inventory effectively and planning with different techniques.
- Monitoring warehouse KPIs and operational metrics.
- Controlling warehouse costs, delegating authority, and enhancing processes.
- Supporting the Head of Logistics in executing warehouse strategies.

- **Transportation (First Mile + Mid Mile & Last Mile):**
- Initiating new transportation initiatives and innovations.
- Managing carriers, negotiating freight, and optimizing costs.
- Allocating loads to partners and monitoring performances.
- Conducting audits at Transporter HUBs & WHs.
- Maintaining SLAs and enhancing customer experience in transport.

- **Supply & Inventory Management:**
- Ensuring targeted placement efficiency SKU branch level.
- Owning demand & supply planning for the region.
- Liaising with warehouses to ensure product availability.
- Achieving fill rate fulfilment targeted % against orders.

- **People & Stakeholders Management:**
- Defining, communicating, and training regional executives & Outsourced Partners.
- Developing competencies in regional executives.
- Imparting training for enhancing skills & new technologies.
- Liaising with Regional Sales, Service, Commercial & external vendors.

You must have experience in Logistics Operations, exposure to CFA operations, and on-roll team handling. Traveling across zones will be required, and knowledge of SAP and Excel is preferred. Good communication and influencing skills are essential, and stability in job history is preferred. Local candidates will be given preference for this role.
