Job Description

Job Title: Delivery Manager – Data Lake & Reporting

Department Data Analytics

Reporting To Data Analytics Supervisor

Role Summary

The Delivery Manager – Data Lake & Reporting is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery coordination of all initiatives related to the enterprise Data Lake (Snowflake) and Reporting & Analytics (Power BI) platforms.

This role ensures that multiple, parallel initiatives—spanning data ingestion, data modeling, semantic layers, dashboards, and enhancements—are prioritized, planned, and delivered predictably, while balancing operational support and strategic roadmap execution.

The Delivery Manager acts as the single point of orchestration across Data Engineers, BI Developers, platform administrators, and business stakeholders, enabling consistent execution in a high‑demand, globally distributed environment

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Ownership & Execution
  • Own the delivery lifecycle for Snowflake and Power BI initiatives, from intake and prioritization through release and closure.
  • Translate strategic roadmap items into clear delivery plans, milestones, and execution tracks.
  • Ensure predictable delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives, including enhancements, migrations, operational fixes, and new use cases.

  • Demand Intake & Prioritization
  • Manage incoming demand from business, finance, operations, and IT stakeholders.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions based on business value, urgency, dependencies, and capacity constraints.
  • Maintain a single, transparent backlog covering both Data Lake and Reporting initiatives.

  • Cross‑Stream Coordination
  • Coordinate delivery across:
  • Data ingestion and transformation pipelines in Snowflake
  • Data modeling and semantic layers
  • Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards
  • Actively manage dependencies between upstream data availability and downstream reporting delivery.
  • Align delivery sequencing to avoid rework and bottlenecks across teams.

  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Serve as the primary delivery interface for business stakeholders.
  • Provide clear status reporting, risk visibility, and delivery forecasts.
  • Proactively escalate risks related to scope, timelines, data readiness, or platform constraints.

  • Operational Stability & Continuous Improvement
  • Balance run vs change activities, ensuring operational support does not block strategic initiatives.
  • Identify recurring delivery issues and drive improvements in intake, estimation, and execution processes.
  • Support standardization efforts (e.g., reusable datasets, standardized dashboards, delivery patterns).

  • Required Qualifications
  • 7 to 12 years of experience in delivery management, project management, or program coordination within data, analytics, or BI environments.
  • Proven experience delivering initiatives across data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end data flows, from ingestion to consumption (even if not hands‑on technical).
  • Experience managing multiple parallel workstreams with competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a global environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Data & Analytics organizations with centralized data platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or flow‑based delivery models applied to data teams.
  • Experience coordinating globally distributed teams and vendors.
  • Exposure to finance, operations, or enterprise reporting use cases.

  • Why This Role Matters

The volume and complexity of initiatives across the Data Lake and Reporting ecosystem requires dedicated delivery ownership.

    This Role Ensures
  • Clear prioritization across Snowflake and Power BI initiatives
  • Reduced delivery friction and dependency risk
  • Better alignment between strategic roadmap and execution capacity
  • Improved transparency and predictability for business stakeholders
