Job Title: ICT & STEM Teacher (Grades 3–8)Role Overview

The ICT & STEM Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical learning experiences in Information & Communication Technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for students of Grades 3 to 8. The role focuses on developing digital literacy, logical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and innovation in alignment with academic standards followed by Central Board of Secondary Education affiliated schools.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver ICT and STEM lessons using activity-based and project-based learning methods.
- Teach computer fundamentals, coding basics, digital literacy, and emerging technologies appropriate to grade level.
- Conduct hands-on STEM activities including robotics, simple engineering models, and problem-solving projects.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and innovation among students.
- Integrate technology tools and digital platforms into classroom teaching.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and practical activities.
- Maintain student records, lesson plans, and assessment data as per school guidelines.
- Ensure safe and responsible use of computers, internet, and lab equipment.
- Support school exhibitions, competitions, and STEM-related events.
- Stay updated with new educational technologies and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications

- Relevant teaching experience in ICT, Computer Science, or STEM subjects (preferred).
- Knowledge of coding platforms (Scratch, basic programming, robotics tools etc.).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct practical and project-based learning activities.

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering / Science or related field.
- B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification – Preferred.
- Certification in coding, robotics, or STEM education – Added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
