- Architecting and developing a platform for financial data
- Providing technical structure to teams and collaborating closely with management to define strategic roadmaps
- Managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise
- Mentoring and training other team members on design techniques and coding standards
- Writing high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
- Planning and implementing the multi-year strategy for Finhub engineering
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter
- Engaging with upstream teams and enforcing SLAs for data availability and quality

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess:

- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience in architecting big data systems using technologies like Apache Spark and Hive
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers and setting a high bar for them to follow
- Passion for building an open financial system using crypto and blockchain technology
- Experience with NetSuite APIs, financial tools development, and transforming business/product data to accounting/financial domain
- Knowledge of integrating with banking partners and bank statements
- Familiarity with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advance SQL
- Experience in performance tuning of big data systems and working with finance and accounting teams
- Knowledge of Kyriba integration and working in the fintech domain

Additionally, having experience in working with cryptocurrency and answering crypto-related questions may be advantageous for this role.
