About This Role:
Reporting into the accounting manager, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for a broad range of activities concentrating mainly on the administration of Forrester EMEA entities, as well as supporting projects on the finance team.

This individual will work as part of the European finance team to maintain high quality and accurate reporting and to drive projects focusing on efficiency and process improvements.

Job Description:
Administer the month-end and quarter-end close in accordance with GAAP, including reconciliation of all general ledger accounts for selected EMEA entities.

Maintain the fixed asset register, bank reconciliation, other balance sheet account specifications, and intercompany transactions.

Liaise with the payroll team regarding the accurate and timely processing of payroll.

Liaise and manage relationships with local accounting firms to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Recommend and implement improvements to further automate close processes.

Complete the VAT returns and any wage tax returns for the entities.

Generate analyses of significant accounts and perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Oversee monthly and quarterly management accounts.

Attend to the requirements of statutory auditors and assist with tax filings.

Assist the team with finance projects.

Other duties as necessary.
