Role Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Concept Architect / Designer who can drive design intent from concept to handover. This role requires strong conceptual thinking, leadership in design development, and the ability to translate client briefs into compelling workplace solutions. You will lead early-stage design, mentor junior designers, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Concept & Design Leadership

• Lead concept development for corporate and workplace interior projects
• Translate client requirements into strong design narratives, layouts, and visual concepts
• Develop space planning, zoning strategies, and experiential concepts
• Ensure design innovation while aligning with budget, timelines, and technical feasibility

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary design point of contact for clients during concept and design stages
• Present concepts, mood boards, and design strategies confidently to clients
• Collaborate with BD, project management, and execution teams for seamless handover

Design Development & Quality Control

• Oversee design development from concept to GFC (Good for Construction) stage
• Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure design intent is maintained
• Ensure compliance with workplace standards, codes, and best practices

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Guide and mentor junior designers and architects
• Allocate tasks, review outputs, and ensure timely delivery of design milestones
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance design culture

Market & Design Trends

• Stay updated with global workplace trends, materials, and technologies
• Introduce innovative design approaches and value-driven solutions

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate / workplace interior projects
• Proven experience leading concept design and managing design teams
• Strong portfolio showcasing concept-driven workplace projects

Skills & Competencies

• Strong conceptual thinking and design storytelling
• Excellent space planning and workplace strategy skills
• Client presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Canva etc.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and execution constraints
• Ability to balance creativity with commercial and technical considerations
