We are hiring a hands-on Senior Operations Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day operations, manage the sales & delivery teams, implement SOPs, run reporting & performance analytics, and act as the single point of accountability between the founder and the operational teams. This is a high-impact role: you will convert strategy into processes, targets and measurable outcomes.
  • Key Responsibilities***1. People & Team Manage**mentLead, coach and manage teams (tele-sales, assistant designers, video editors, content ops, student support — 20–30 people).Set daily/weekly targets, performance scorecards, and run daily standups.Recruitment support: define JDs, interview, onboard, coach new hires to performance standards.**Sales & Conversion Ownership**Own enrollment targets (monthly/quarterly) — track funnel from ad → webinar → community → conversion.Drive tactical processes to improve CPL / CPL → webinar attendance → conversion tele-sales scripts, objection handling, follow-ups, EMI tracking and recovery process.Ensure accurate tracking of recurring EMI conversions and prevent revenue leakage.*3. Operations & Process (SOPs)**Build, document and enforce SOPs across: admissions, payment reconciliation, certificate dispatch, attendance, refunds, grievance handling, workshop delivery.Implement quality checks for course delivery, recordings, and live sessions.*4. Reporting & Analytics**Prepare daily/weekly dashboards for founder: enrollments, revenue, churn, refunds, attendance, webinar metrics, top-of-funnel sources, automate reportsDeep-dive weekly on anomalies (spikes/drops in CPL, retention) and propose corrective action.Set KPI targets per role and run performance reviews.*5. Student Experience & Reputation**Own student support SLAs — ensure timely resolution for WhatsApp / app / email queries.Oversee certificate issuance & dispatch process (hardcopy), and maintain audit trail.Manage online reviews / feedback loop and remedial actions for negative feedback.*6. Events & Launches**Full ownership of operations for webinars, workshops, and launches (logistics, backstage, team rosters, rehearse runs).Coordinate with marketing to ensure operations readiness during Black-Friday / launches / webinars.*7. Vendor & Finance Coordination**Manage vendor relationships: photographers, printers (certificates), branding event vendors etc.Work closely with finance on reconciliation, chargebacks, refunds, and commission calculations.*Key KPIs (what success looks like in 1/3/6 months)**Monthly enrollments target (e.g., help achieve 5,000 in PCFD 2 (upcoming course) campaign over 3 months via operational excellence)Reduce CPL by 20-30%% (initial target to be mutually agreed)Webinar → conversion rate improved to 8%+ (or better)EMI leakage / non-payment rate reduced to <5% via tighter processesStudent satisfaction > 4.5/5 on post-course surveysSLA adherence: 24-48h resolution on student support queries, zero critical app/EMI bugs unresolved beyond 24h*Must-have Experience & Skills**5+ years of operations / people-management experience (preferably in edtech, coaching, online courses, or high-volume training business).Proven experience managing tele-sales / admission teams and scaling enrollments.Strong process-orientation: excellent at building SOPs, checklists, and enforcing them.Data-driven: comfortable with Google Sheets / Excel (pivot, v-lookup etc.), building dashboards, and simple analysis.Experience with CRM & Webinar platforms (Zoom + Zoom Webinar), Classplus / app panels, payment gateways (Razorpay/PayU) is a plus.Excellent communication (Hindi + English).Solid leadership skills: coachable, calm under pressure, decisive.*Behavioral Traits (non-negotiable)**Highly accountable — owns problems end-to-end.Bias for systems & negotiation & vendor management skills.Empathy for students but firm with team accountability.High energy, deadline oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced founder-led culture.*Role Package & Next Steps**Salary: **₹40,000+** per month (negotiable based on experience) + performance bonus (linked to enrollments & revenue growth).Immediate joining preferred.
