Description & Requirements

The Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition (Technology) is a strategic leadership role responsible for owning the end-to-end hiring strategy and delivery for technology functions across the India organization. This role partners closely with senior business leaders (Directors/VPs globally), leads a high-performing TA team, and drives scalable hiring strategies across engineering, cloud, digital, data, cybersecurity, enterprise platforms, and other technology domains. The position requires deep experience in global recruiting, strong business partnership capabilities, and the ability to translate market intelligence and data insights into strategic hiring decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with stakeholders and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the open position and project requirements.
  • Utilize experience, data, and metrics to develop, execute, and assess recruitment strategies and plans.
  • Plan and re-plan based on evolving and competing priorities.
  • Provide meaningful status reports and presentations.
  • Support new project startups.
  • Provide support to several management level, including the Executive Leadership team.
  • Represent and promote our organization at events.
  • Manage, train, and mentor recruiters and support staff.
  • Develop, build, and maintain candidate relationships through ongoing communications promoting interest in the positions and the organization.
  • Accountable for all recruiting-related activities and deliverables.
  • Ensure project compliance with all operational requirements of the contract as well as corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with other managers to ensure effective coordination of activities.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in collaboration with other key stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and other external entities.
  • Generate solutions to issues or complex problems.
  • Develop performance goals and objectives for staff and monitor achievement of those goals.
  • Manages a large team or multiple smaller teams typically comprised of other managers, supervisors and/or experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
  • Typically has hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority within own area, in accordance with manager review and approval.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy & Workforce Planning
  • Partner with HR and business leadership to define annual and quarterly workforce plans for technology portfolios.
  • Build hiring strategies aligned to capability development, business expansion, and global priorities.
  • Optimize sourcing channels across lateral hiring, campus, referrals, and strategic partners.
  • Influence decisions related to role design, seniority, talent mix, and global location strategy.
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5–10 recruiters and sourcers.
  • Build team capability in sourcing, assessments, analytics, and stakeholder management.
  • Establish a high-performance culture emphasizing ownership, agility, and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manage workload distribution, performance reviews, and career development for the team.
  • Global Stakeholder Management & Talent Advisory
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across India, US, UK, and other regions.
  • Provide insights on talent supply, demand trends, market shifts, and compensation benchmarks.
  • Lead regular TA reviews with Directors/VP-level leaders, presenting data-backed recommendations.
  • Influence decisions related to role leveling, skill definition, compensation, and hiring timelines.
  • Data, Insights & Operational Excellence
  • Own TA performance metrics, including time-to-fill, funnel conversions, quality-of-hire, offer-to-join, diversity, and candidate NPS.
  • Build and present dashboards using ATS, Excel, or Power BI to support data-driven decisions.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure governance, audit readiness, and adherence to hiring standards across geographies.
  • Market Intelligence & Employer Branding
  • Track talent trends in the India tech ecosystem, including competitor activity, demand hotspots, and compensation trends.
  • Share market insights with global and local leadership to guide hiring decisions.
  • Partner with branding teams to strengthen the organization's positioning among tech talent communities.
  • Governance, Compliance & Candidate Experience
  • Ensure compliance with internal hiring policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Champion structured interviews, consistent evaluations, and TA governance frameworks.Drive initiatives that deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate experience across all stages.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12–15 years of experience in technology recruitment with strong hands-on expertise in end-to-end hiring within a global corporate environment.
  • Mandatory experience partnering with US and UK region stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, managing and developing TA teams.
