As a Data Specialist, you will have the opportunity to contribute value to stakeholders by thoroughly preparing and analyzing complex data sets in the insurance domain. You will work with a variety of data sets and demonstrate your analytical excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Assist various stakeholders by collating and effectively interpreting large sets of data based on business requirements.
- Play an essential role in the success of projects within the insurance domain.
- Provide expert support in extracting data using comprehensive SQL queries and different Excel files.
- Simplify and prepare datasets on SQL servers based on the extracted data.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in applied mathematics, statistics, economics, commerce, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills:
- Proficient understanding of SQL statements.
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as SSRS and/or Power BI, and programming languages like Python & R.
- Familiarity with concepts, jargons, and products used in underwriting and the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of VBA and its functionalities.
- Ability to handle and resolve SQL queries.
