Role Description

This full-time, on-site role based in Pune (Kothrud) is for a Sourcing Engineer (Strategic Sourcing). The Sourcing Engineer will manage supplier evaluation, development, and quality assurance processes. The role involves strategizing procurement efforts, analyzing supplier performance, and ensuring an efficient and cost-effective supply chain. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal sourcing processes and alignment with organizational objectives of Safety >> Quality > Delivery > Cost will be a key focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
• Must be proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Expertise in Supplier Evaluation, Supplier Development, and Supplier Quality management
• Strong skills in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop cost-effective sourcing strategies
• Proficiency in using sourcing and supply chain management tools is a plus
• Previous experience in manufacturing or product solutions industries is advantageous
