Hiring: Recording Engineer

Splice Studioz is looking for a passionate and technically strong Recording Engineer to join our sound team.

If you are passionate about audio, have a strong understanding of signal flow, and can manage recording sessions smoothly even under pressure, we would love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate recording equipment for music, VO, ADR & podcasts
• Handle mic placement, gain staging & signal routing
• Ensure clean, high-quality recordings
• Manage session files and backups
• Coordinate with artists, producers & directors during sessions
• Basic editing and session prep in Pro Tools
• Maintain studio equipment and troubleshoot technical issues

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Pro Tools
• Understanding of acoustics, mic types & signal chain
• Experience with outboard gear & patch bays
• Clean session organization workflow
• Ability to work flexible hours (recording schedules vary)
• Good communication skills

Preferred (Bonus):

• Experience in music production
• Knowledge of plugins (FabFilter, SoundToys, Valhalla, Plugin Alliance etc.)
• Experience in film / ad / OTT audio workflows

Experience:

1–3 years (Studio experience preferred)
