Yalavarthi Software Solutions Pvt Ltd is looking for a Software Tester / QA Tester with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing development team in Hyderabad.

Role Overview

The Software Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications by identifying bugs, verifying functionality, and improving overall product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and prepare test plans and test cases
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
• Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues
• Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing
• Ensure applications meet quality standards before release
• Maintain proper testing documentation and reports

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies
• Experience in manual testing for web or mobile applications
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, or similar)
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Basic knowledge of API testing tools like Postman
• Experience testing Android or iOS mobile apps
• Understanding of automation testing tools is an advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
