Job Summary

The Social Science Teacher is responsible for teaching subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and Social Studies. The teacher will help students understand society, culture, government, and global relationships while developing critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics as applicable).
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities according to the curriculum.
- Encourage students to develop critical thinking, discussion, and research skills.
- Conduct assessments, tests, and assignments to evaluate student progress.
- Use maps, charts, presentations, and educational resources to enhance learning.
- Promote awareness of social responsibility, culture, and global citizenship.
- Maintain student records, progress reports, and academic documentation.
- Support students in projects, exhibitions, and social science activities.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in History / Geography / Political Science / Social Science.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in Social Science (preferred).
- Fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge may also apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
