About the Role

Digital Planet is looking for a creative, independent, and performance-driven Social Media Executive who can single-handedly manage and grow our brand presence across all major social media platforms.

If you understand trends, algorithms, content strategy, audience engagement, and can own the entire social media function end-to-end, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow company profiles across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, and YouTube
• Independently handle the social media department and take complete ownership of planning, execution, and growth
• Plan, create, and publish daily content (posts, reels, stories, carousels)
• Create your own creatives, graphics, and videos for social media platforms
• Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar
• Write engaging captions and content aligned with the brand voice
• Track analytics, insights, and performance metrics
• Research trends, hashtags, and platform updates to increase reach & engagement
• Coordinate with internal teams when required (design, influencer, marketing)
• Handle basic community management (comments & DMs)

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts
• Strong understanding of all major social media platforms & algorithms
• Proven experience with reels, short-form video content, and trending formats
• Strong creative, visual, and copywriting sense
• Ability to design creatives and edit basic videos independently
• Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, scheduling tools, and analytics
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take ownership
• Pune-based candidates preferred

Hiring Process (Important)

• Candidates will be required to complete an assignment as part of the hiring process
• This assignment will act as a screening/assessment round
• Only candidates who successfully clear the assignment will be moved to the next stage of the hiring process
