Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator who can help create engaging short-form video content (Reels/Shorts) for social media platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, understands social media trends, and is comfortable appearing on camera.

The persona will work closely with the growth and content team to plan and create content that drives engagement, builds audience trust, and supports brand growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation (Primary Responsibility)

Create engaging short-form video content for social media platforms including:

• Instagram Reels
• YouTube Shorts
• Facebook Reels

Content formats may include:

• Educational or explainer videos
• Lifestyle and relatable content
• Trend-based reels
• Story-driven short videos
• Informational or advice-based content

2. On-Camera Content Creation (Important)

• Appear in social media reels and videos when required
• Deliver content in a clear, engaging, and relatable manner
• Help create content that connects well with social media audiences

3. Content Ideation & Trend Research

• Identify trending content formats and social media trends
• Suggest new content ideas, hooks, and storytelling formats
• Stay updated with short-form video trends

4. Social Media Support

• Assist with content publishing and scheduling
• Monitor comments and audience engagement
• Support basic community interaction

5. Performance Learning & Optimisation

• Understand basic social media performance metrics, such as:
• Video views
• Engagement rate
• Watch time
• Follower growth
• Learn how content performance is tracked and optimized
