Role Overview: Stryder Consulting is looking for a hands-on Social Media Strategist & Manager who can own social media outcomes end-to-end—from strategy to execution to performance review.

The role is about using social media to drive brand authority, demand, and leads for:
  • Our client brands (ecommerce-first businesses)
  • Our own consulting firm’s brand (LinkedIn & Instagram)

  • You will work closely with the founder and eventually lead junior associates.

    Location: Bangalore

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Strategy (Core Responsibility)
  • Develop platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Tik Tok & LinkedIn
  • Translate business goals (sales, leads, positioning) into content pillars
  • Define Content themes, Posting cadence, Format mix (reels, carousels, static, stories, LinkedIn posts)
  • Build monthly content calendars with clear objectives per post

  • 2. Content Direction & Quality Control:
  • Create Content outline, hooks and storytelling frameworks, caption structure (CTA-driven, not generic)
  • Review and approve content created by junior resources
  • Ensure brand voice consistency, visual alignment and platform best practices.

  • 3. Client & Internal Brand Management
  • Manage 1–3 client accounts initially
  • Own our firm’s LinkedIn & Instagram
  • Handle posting schedules, basic community engagement, client communication

    4. Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Track and review reach, engagement, saves and profile visits, leads or traffic
  • Identify what’s working and what’s not
  • Recommend iterative improvements, not vanity metrics
  • Prepare monthly performance summaries for clients/internal review

  • 5. Process Building
  • Create content SOPs, checklists and templates
  • Help make social media execution repeatable and scalable

  • What Success Looks Like (Non-Negotiable)

    Within 60–90 days, you should:
  • Independently run social strategy for clients and internal brand
  • Reduce founder involvement in day-to-day content decisions
  • Deliver consistent, on-brand, error-free content
  • Show clear improvement in engagement quality and brand clarity
  • Build systems so juniors can execute without chaos

  • Role Requirements (Must-Have)
  • 3–6 years managing Instagram and/or LinkedIn for brands
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, platform algorithms, storytelling and hooks
  • Experience working with founders or ecommerce brands
  • Ability to think business-first, not just “social-first”
  • Strong written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ownership mindset

  • Good-to-Have (Big Plus):
  • Experience in ecommerce, D2C, or marketplaces
  • Understanding of lead-generation funnels
  • Ability to brief designers and video editors effectively
  • Exposure to analytics tools or Meta insights
  • Prior experience mentoring juniors

  • Someone who only manages an external social media agency
  • Someone who has only worked with B2C brands.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant work experience writing creative content for e-commerce and social media.
  • Research skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Creative mindset
  • Excellent content writing and copywriting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of social media trends, social and meme culture, and how a clearly defined brand can cut through the clutter.
  • Knowledge of design tools like Canva/Photoshop.
  • Creatively inclined and social media savvy.
  • Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms.
  • Ability to create authoritative and persuasive texts.
