Position Overview

The Social Media Manager will support the execution of social media programs for Amazon India across Beauty, Luxury Beauty, Jewelry, Watches, and Luggage categories. This role focuses on planning and executing social media content, managing creator and brand collaborations, and driving engagement through category-specific content across Amazon-owned and external social platforms.

The role requires strong execution capabilities, coordination with brand and category teams, and hands-on management of social media calendars, creator collaborations, and content publishing. The Social Media Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver social media campaigns, support product and campaign launches, and track performance across social initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Social Media Content Execution
  • Assist in planning and own execution of social media calendars across Beauty, Luxury Beauty, Jewelry, Watches, and Luggage categories.
  • Publish and manage content across Amazon-owned social handles and relevant partner channels.
  • Coordinate with internal creative teams, brands and agencies for production of social media assets including posts, reels, and short-form video content.
  • Write and review social media copy for campaign, brand, and product-focused content.

  • 2. Creator & Influencer Collaborations
  • Support execution of influencer and creator collaborations across social campaigns and product launches.
  • Coordinate with creators for content briefs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Track creator content performance and maintain records of collaboration outputs.

  • 3. Brand Social Activations
  • Execute brand-led social media activations including product launches, new brand onboarding, and campaign bursts.
  • Coordinate with partner brands for content submissions, approvals, and publishing schedules.
  • Manage category-specific social initiatives and ensure timely delivery of brand commitments.

  • 4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Track social media performance metrics including reach, engagement, and content performance.
  • Build monthly scorecards for social campaigns and creator collaborations.
  • Share insights with internal teams to improve future social executions.

  • 5. User-Generated Content & Community Engagement
  • Identify opportunities to feature customer and creator-generated content across social channels.
  • Support execution of social contests, giveaways, and engagement-driven formats.
  • Monitor comments and engagement trends to inform future content formats.

  • This role requires close coordination with category marketing, brand partnerships, and central content teams to deliver social media executions across multiple categories.

    The role involves managing content timelines, creator collaborations, and brand deliverables while ensuring campaigns are executed according to schedule. Regular tracking of social performance metrics and reporting of insights is expected.

    Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional non-internship experience in marketing or social media.
  • Experience managing social media content calendars and publishing workflows.
  • Experience using Excel or similar tools for performance tracking and reporting.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with creators or influencer marketing programs.
  • Experience executing social campaigns for beauty, fashion, or lifestyle categories.
  • Familiarity with short-form video formats and social media content trends.
