Our two brands, Shark and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline and impactful market presence on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which India plays a critical role. We plan to scale India on the back of disruptive product innovation and marketing investments.

The Social and Influencer Media Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated social media and influencer relation strategies to elevate Shark and Ninja’s brand presence in India. This role combines creative storytelling, influencer and media relations, and data-driven campaign management to drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy.

As part of the India Brand Marketing Team, and in close collaboration with APAC and Global counterparts, this role ensures that SharkNinja’s brand voice is consistently represented across all consumer touchpoints—social, digital, and earned media.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute integrated Social strategies aligned with global objectives and local market priorities.
  • Localize global playbooks, develop creative assets, and campaign narratives for the Indian market.
  • Identify emerging social, media, and cultural trends to keep brands at the forefront.

  • Social Media Management
  • Lead content planning and execution across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, other, and other social platforms.
  • Manage influencer partnerships—from ideation to performance tracking.
  • Build engaged social communities through authentic conversations and user-generated content.
  • Track KPIs and optimize content and campaigns using data-driven insights.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with global, regional, local brand teams and agency partners to integrate social into broader 360 marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with product, e-commerce, and retail marketing teams to amplify launches and ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Serve as a cultural trendspotter, sharing insights on consumer behavior, digital culture, and emerging communication channels.

  • Budget & Performance Management
  • Manage social budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to deliver maximum impact.
  • Define, track, and evaluate performance metrics for all initiatives, applying data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

  • Required Skills And Qualifications
  • 6 + years of experience in social media, influencer marketing (consumer electronics, FMCG, or lifestyle preferred).
  • Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, YouTube) and earned media landscape in India.
  • Proven ability to create integrated campaigns combining social, influencer tactics.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Strategic, creative, and data-driven mindset with strong project management skills.
  • Collaborative, agile, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
